End Polio Now! Crocus Bulb Planting

To mark World Polio Day: Using crocus bulbs, the slogan "End Polio Now!" has been planted into the bank at The Lake Grounds in Portishead. This was a joint operation with Portishead in Bloom, Gordano Breakfast Rotary Club and Portishead Rotary Club. Internationally, Rotary has worked tirelessly to eradicate wild Polio from the world. We are almost there with only two countries remaining! World Polio Day is on Saturday, 24th October.
