End Polio Now Crocus Flowers

Good to see the End Polio Now message (in Crocus flowers) appearing clearly again at Portishead Lake Grounds. Rotary has worked for many years internationally to eliminate Polio in the world. We are almost there!

The purple crocus is a symbol of Rotary’s worldwide campaign to eradicate polio, with its colour representing the dye used to mark the finger of a child who has been immunised. A lifesaving oral polio vaccine costs just 20p.
