Eighteen young candidates performed in heats held last year with winners and runners up coming together on Friday 19th January at Redland Hall, Redmaids School to compete before an audience and three distinguished adjudicators led by Alan Schiller, international concert pianist. With incredibly high standards from the competitors and an almost impossible task for the adjudicators, Vera Hsuan was awarded top musician to be presented with the coveted Rotary Young Musician silver platter and cheque for £100.
